Established in Caudry, Northern France, Solstiss S.A. utilizes only Leavers machines. They were created in 1814 to produce lace that recreates the beauty of a hand made product. Today, these same machines produce the fine traditional works of art as in the past. The craftsmen who operate them are the most highly skilled textile workers in the world. Solstiss S.A. employs more than 200 persons to operate their 90 machines. The Leavers machines' high design capability enable Solstiss S.A. to create more than 300 new designs a year, many of them being custom creations.
Each season, the new Solstiss collections range from very simple classics to the most innovative designs in the industry, featuring complex embroideries with gold, silver threads, beads sequins, and even feathers and furs.
Specializing in Couture and Designer ready-to-wear, the best fashion houses in the world use Solstiss laces as a resource and inspiration for their work. In any given season the runways of Paris, Milan and New York are showing clothes made of Solstiss lace.

Bucol design studio is an environment where unique materials, such as hand-cut velvet, Duchess satin, Poudre laque, Cracknyl, three way iridescent taffeta, and Cigaline…are born. Today, Bucol contains over 80,000 different archives of home furnishing and clothing textiles dating back to the early 18th century. The House of Bucol always welcomes couturiers and designers who come in search of inspiration, thus enabling them to develop new designs and techniques on Bucol fabrics.
Specializing in yarn dyes, the mill in Bussières has a unique selection of machines from plain weave to intricate Jacqard looms. The weavers of Bucol are dedicated to maintaining the traditional skills required for silk warp printing, brocade, damask, lampas, taffetas, satin weaves, etc…
