Established in New York in 1986, Solstiss / Bucol (America) is the subsidiary of two renown French textile companies, SOLSTISS and BUCOL, respected worldwide for their creativity, the quality of their products and their longstanding tradition of craftsmanship:

Solstiss S.A. is the manufacturer of the prestigious Leavers Laces and Bucol S.A. (part of Hermès Int'l) is a weaver of silks created in the tradition of the famous Lyon houses.

Each season the new collections of Solstiss and Bucol offer an array of sophisticated, dynamic and innovative designs. Our showrooms are a "must stop" for a designer seeking finest luxury laces and silks, reliability and inspiration.

Solstiss/Bucol created its own line called Embelliss. Utilizing Solstiss laces, Embelliss is an exclusive embellishment line on the cutting edge of innovation and design. As a distributor, we also carry the Bliss line - a collection of exquisite embellishments on fine silk fabrics..

Solstiss / Bucol provides a dedicated service to the most prestigious design houses in America. Our expert staff is friendly and knowledgable. They will gladly offer individual attention, advice and in depth assistance as well as the capacity to materialize special creations.

Solstiss / Bucol also participates in Sponsorship programs: granting a Solstiss Award to the students of PRATT Institute and a Bucol Award to the students of Parsons School of Design for the best use and interpretation of Solstiss Bucol laces and silks. We are dedicated to the effort of supporting future designers, introducing students to the wonderful world of fine laces and silks and giving back to the community.
